Adding Checkout to your store
WooCommerce
- Tap Checkout > Connect store
- Select Connect WooCommerce and tap Create API Key
- Copy and save your generated API key
- Install and activate the Nomod for WooCommerce plugin on your WordPress dashboard
- Enable Nomod on the list of payment options in your WooCommerce settings
- Paste your API key and save your changes
Shopify
- In the Nomod app, go to Settings > Business > Connect apps and manage API keys.
- Select Shopify and tap Connect Shopify account.
- Log in to your Shopify account and tap Install to add the Nomod Payment Gateway app.
- Review your setup settings and tap Activate.
Websites and applications
For websites and apps built on other platforms.- Tap Checkout > Connect Hosted Checkout
- Tap Create API Key and save your generated API key
- Insert this API key into the payment configuration section of your website or app to complete the integration
Understanding the Checkout Interface
Once any one of your stores is connected, your orders will be displayed on your Checkout activity screen. Here, you have a clear summary of orders across your active integrations:Order summary
This covers information on total orders, order value in your base currency, and comparisons with previous periods. By default, it’s set to a 7-day timeline overview.Order list
For each order placed, you’ll see the amount, the store it came from, and the currency, with color cues to indicate whether the transaction was successful or failed. To see an order’s full details, tap on it.Search & Filters
Search and sort orders by date, store, or status, and the activity screen updates instantly to match your criteria.Disabling Checkout
Disabling Checkout from your website or app will stop you from being able to use Nomod to process payments.For WooCommerce
- Tap ⠇ and select Manage WooCommerce
- Tap ⠇ and select Revoke
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins.
- Find Nomod for WooCommerce and click Deactivate to turn it off, or Delete to remove it completely.
For Shopify
From the store
- Log in to your Shopify store
- Click Settings > Payments
- Under Supported payment method, tap Nomod Payment Gateway
- Scroll down and click Deactivate
From the Nomod App
- Tap Checkout on the Nomod app
- Tap ⠇ > Manage Shopify > Manage Connection
- Tap Deactivate
For Nomod Hosted Checkout
- Tap ⠇ and select Manage Hosted Checkout
- Tap ⠇ and select Revoke
- Go to your website or app and remove any integration code, including API calls and checkout scripts.
- Make a test purchase to confirm the checkout is no longer active.
You can also revoke your API key at any time if you think it has been
compromised or you want to rotate it regularly for security.
